VOTE NOW FOR MARCO CAPPATO!

Dear Friends:
Marco is truly a good guy and a wonderful colleague in the International Antiprohibitionist League. He is a citizen of the civilized world and deserves this honor.

Thanks so much.
Arnold

From: Emma Bonino and Marco Pannella, radicals Members of the European Parliament
Subject: Cappato "European of the year" and "Wired Rave Awards Nominee": many thanks and new call for action: United States residents can vote again for Marco Cappato at http://www.raveawards.com., BEFORE FRIDAY!, December 20, 2002

Dear friend,

We did not even have the time to thank you for the election of Marco Cappato as "European of the year", that a new nomination has come from the famous "Wired" magazine, with a new online election!

As you may know, Marco (who is a MEP and the Parliamentarians for Anti-prohibitionist Action Co-ordinator)won the European Voice prize for the "most influential European of 2002" on December the 3rd. Today we received good news again: Marco has been selected as a WIRED Rave Awards Nominee for Politician. Each year, an international jury and WIRED editors "honor innovators and visionaries from art, entertainment, business, science, design and politics whose work has contributed to the creative evolution of their craft and field. These are The People Changing Your Mind."

As it was the case for the European Voice Award, we are confident that this will be a new occasion for having Marco's voice heard on freedom and democracy, on privacy and fundamental human rights. Marco Cappato is fighting for the creation of a World Organization of Democracies, for antiprohibitionism on drugs and for the nonviolent organization of oppressed people around the world. His success in the Wired Rave Awards will strengthen also our struggle, the struggle of his friends from the gandhian Transnational Radical Party.

As Marco Cappato used to say, "being in favour of freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, I am a Tibetan too, a Uygur, a Montagnard, a Vietnamese, a Laotian...I am a Buddhist, a Christian, a Falun Gong,...we are fighting for a common cause through nonviolent tools". Notwithstanding the few time left, we hope that you can also help us in spreading the news among US residents. Thank you very much for everything you can do before Friday!

Marco Pannella
